Meet the founder

Nerdy Consultants is led by Jess — born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, and the first woman to graduate from Sullivan University’s software engineering program, where she went on to earn her master’s degree.

She spent two decades building and testing systems for large enterprises, and now brings that same discipline to small businesses — especially contractors. The goal is simple: hand owners back the hours they lose to busywork so they can focus on sales and running the job, while the right tools quietly handle the processes that should never have been manual in the first place. She’s a firm believer that a well-built system lets a small crew operate like a company several times its size — and she’s always learning the next tool that makes that possible.

Outside of work, Jess is a single mom to her 15-year-old daughter, plus a German shepherd and a cat who run the household. She loves Kentucky bourbon and traveling, and burns off the rest of her energy off-roading, out on the boat, and in the kickboxing ring.
